SCRATCHES
Written Materials for This Lesson

We spent all that time learning chords and now we bring back the thuds and muted strings. Many times I use the term scratches when talking about thuds/muted strings. Again, we are bringing different concepts together and creating one big sphere of knoweledge from all the individual pieces.

Scratches

  • E (6th) string (Low) = mute
  • A (5th) string = mute
  • D (4th) string = mute
  • G (3rd) string = mute
  • B (2nd) string = mute
  • E (1st) string (High) = mute
