This next chord is very popular in many different genres. You will find it in many playces. You may even recognize the sound of this chord from some of your favorite songs. Chords can be tricky. Our goal is to place our second and third fretting-hand fingers just behind the second fret of the A and D strings. Just as before, make an effort to use the tips of your fingers. This will allow all other strings to ring freely.
Em Chord
- E (6th) string (Low) = open
- A (5th) string = second (2nd) finger, second (2nd) fret
- D (4th) string = third (3nd) finger, second (2nd) fret
- G (3rd) string = open
- B (2nd) string = open
- E (1st) string (High) = open
